Next Generation Proteomics in Large-Scale Clinical Analysis

Obesity is a leading world problem and severe risk factor for cardiovascular disease, liver diseases like NAFLD or NASH, and type 2 diabetes. Together with Nestlé we have analyzed over 1,500 serum samples from DiOGenes clinical trial. We were able to identify protein signature specific for the dietary intervention which included known biomarkers associated with the aforementioned conditions.
