SISCAPA® Workflow
To support translational and clinical applications, our platform integrates automated sample preparation and GCP-compliant processes, ensuring clinical-grade robustness, regulatory alignment, and reliable data generation — making SISCAPA ideally suited for bioanalytical and clinical research.
Sample Preparation: SIS peptides and in some cases recombinant protein(s) are spiked into extracted proteins from various biological matrices, including plasma, dried blood spots, cerebrospinal fluid, serum, and tissue lysates.
Enzymatic Digestion: Proteins are digested to generate target peptides, including proteotypic peptides of interest.
Targeted Detection: Enriched peptides are analyzed via targeted mass spectrometry, improving signal-to-noise ratios and enabling detection of proteins often undetectable by traditional methods.
Data Output: The combined use of SIS and recombinant protein(s) allows quantitative measurements of target proteins with great accuracy.
