Protein Quantification features a standardized discovery proteomics service based on Hyper Reaction Monitoring (HRM-MS™), a next-generation proteomics technology invented at Biognosys for quantification of complete proteomes, or targeted proteomics solutions for protein-of-interest quantification using MRM/PRM. 


 

Global Protein Quantification

Biognosys’ Discovery Proteomics (HRM-MS™) enables hypothesis-free quantification of thousands of proteins per sample from virtually any fluid or tissue. This allows the identification of significantly regulated proteins between different conditions (e.g. treated/untreated, healthy/diseased).

The Protein Quantification service features a proven HRM workflow with a deep proteome profile and a fast turnaround time of 5-6 weeks for standard projects. It is ideal for researchers looking for a deep hypothesis-free proteome quantification service.

Post-translational modification analysis and other customized services are also available upon request.

Targeted Protein Quantification

Targeted Protein Quantification is a customized targeted proteomics service based on Multiple or Parallel Reaction Monitoring (MRM and PRM). MRM and PRM are targeted proteomics techniques that offer highly specific and sensitive quantification of your proteins of interest in complex biological samples.

The targeted proteomics service includes sample preparation and assay development with stable isotope peptides for absolute or relative quantification of the selected proteins. The LC-MS measurements of your samples can be performed in our state-of-the-art proteomics lab or the method can be transferred to your facility. Targeted proteomics allows a high-throughput quantification of up to 100 proteins and is ideal for researchers interested in absolute quantification of the selected proteins in hundreds or thousands of samples.

Project Management

  • A final report with data analysis and a description of all methods is delivered upon project completion. Depending on the number of samples, the turnaround time from receiving the samples to the final report is 5-6 weeks
