Biognosys’ service offering includes discovery proteomics (DIA-based), targeted proteomics, and drug target deconvolution (based on the proprietary LiP-MS technology). These technologies are applied in contract research projects for pharma and biotechnology companies. You will be responsible for the development and improvement of methods to be applied in customer projects in compliance with GCP and GLP requirements. Together with a strong team of dedicated colleagues, you make Biognosys’ next-generation proteomics technology available and actionable for the pharma and biotechnology industry.



  • Development of proteomics workflows for use in pre-clinical and clinical studies
  • Validation of discovery and targeted proteomics methods
  • Collaboration with the services, R&D, and bioinformatics teams
  • Hands-on sample processing, LC-MS/MS data acquisition, data processing, analysis, and interpretation
  • Diligent documentation of activities
  • Reporting, presentation, and discussion of results internally and with customers
  • Supervision of research associates and interns



  • PhD in biochemistry, chemistry, biology, or other life sciences
  • Minimum 3 years experience in proteomics including mass spectrometry and HPLC is a prerequisite
  • Experience in data handling and interpretation of proteomics data
  • Experience in working in a regulated environment (GCP/GLP), industry experience is a plus
  • Business-minded, self-motivated, analytical thinking, problem-solving attitude, independent working style
  • Solid computer skills including MS Office, R is a plus
  • Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
