These interactions are crucial for communication between cells, organs and tissues, as well as for activating intracellular pathways (membrane proteins). Proteins involved are potential drug targets, biomarkers for health, disease and prognosis. With Biognosys’ discovery proteomics (HRM-MS™) the membrane or secreted proteome can be quantified and significantly regulated proteins can be identified. Targeted proteomics (MRM or PRM) allows further validation for proteins of interest with absolute quantification of up to 100 proteins per sample in a high-throughput mode.
